We are happy to announce the release of Spaces version 1.1.2, a bug fix update aimed at improving the stability and performance of our algorithmic reverb plugin that models real-world room acoustics. This update addresses critical issues that some users encountered, particularly in Pro Tools and with the Von Richter GUI, ensuring that Spaces performs more reliably across all supported platforms.

One of the main fixes in version 1.1.2 resolves CPU spikes that were affecting users in Pro Tools. Some users reported experiencing unexpected CPU usage spikes, which in certain cases led to Pro Tools crashing or becoming unresponsive. These CPU spikes would typically occur when working on larger, more complex sessions or when using multiple instances of Spaces. We’ve now addressed this issue, ensuring that Spaces runs much more smoothly within Pro Tools without placing unnecessary strain on your system resources. Users should now be able to use the plugin in heavier projects without the fear of sudden crashes or slowdowns.

Another important fix in this update is related to a crash in the Von Richter GUI. The Von Richter mode in Spaces provides a unique visual and auditory experience for reverb shaping, but a bug in this feature was causing the plugin to crash, interrupting the workflow. With version 1.1.2, this issue has been fully resolved, allowing users to explore the full creative potential of the Von Richter GUI mode without any stability concerns.

As always, this update is free for all current owners of Spaces. If you already own the plugin, simply log into your user area on the HoRNet website to download the latest version. We highly recommend installing this update to benefit from the improved stability and performance, especially if you’ve experienced any of the issues addressed in this release.

This update is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that Spaces remains a reliable and powerful tool in your reverb processing arsenal.
