Lastly, the HoRNet Sybilla is an intelligent de-esser designed to reduce sibilance quickly and effectively. It works by dividing the input signal into eight different bands, each carefully tuned to sibilant frequencies. These filters then drive a VCA-modeled compressor with a smooth and pleasant response. Coupled with envelope followers that are perfect for speech, Sybilla delivers a very musical yet effective de-essing experience.
