Bitcrusher and resampler for vintage digital
Experience the distinctive vibe of early digital gear with HoRNet ADDA, the advanced bitcrusher plugin that faithfully emulates vintage analog-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) converters. HoRNet ADDA brings the gritty, lo-fi magic and warmth of late ’80s and early ’90s digital sound directly to your DAW.
Bitcrusher galore
HoRNet ADDA features dedicated bitcrusher modules for both ADC and DAC stages, allowing precise bit depth reduction from transparent 24-bit audio down to crunchy 4-bit textures. With multiple selectable resampling algorithms and frequencies, ADDA offers unparalleled flexibility to add digital grit, lo-fi aesthetics, and vintage authenticity to your productions.
Warmth & Bitcrushing
In addition to powerful bitcrushing capabilities, HoRNet ADDA includes carefully modeled analog input and output stages. These analog emulations bring genuine warmth, harmonic richness, and even adjustable analog hiss to complement your bitcrushed sounds. Plus, the intuitive pre-emphasis and de-emphasis filters let you sculpt your audio with surgical precision before and after the bitcrushing stage.
HoRNet ADDA also comes with up to 4x oversampling to make sure the highest quality is always allowed and the “auto” option ensures you have enough bandwith for high quality processing regardless of the sample rate set in your DAW.
The interface is provided both in light and dark mode and follows the operative system option providing a consistent look and feel with the rest of your environment.
We took great care in optimizing the algorithm and the result is that ADDA is very light on CPU allowing you to create a virtual multi output vintage sampler very easily if you want without significant hit on your CPU.
Demo
The demo is fully functional except for the fact that every now and then it will silence out, you cannot save parameter values with your session and the plugin will not respond to automation coming from the host.
Features
Copy protection
The HoRNet ADDA has no copy protection, we don’t believe in copy protection, they are always cracked and they are annoying for the users, we all know you are not going to give away the plugin on the internet…
So simply download the plugin and enjoy your recordings!
I think you should have a different format for showcasing your demos. Have a look at Plugin Alliance's page. They have a SoundCloud with a before and after track by instrument (not always volume matched) but this better for me.
This is exactly what I was missing for a long time. Gives me that anlog dimension. Love it on the master bus.
