We’ve just released an update for TrackUtility MK2, our versatile all-in-one audio tool.
TrackUtility MK2 is like the Swiss army knife of audio processing. It combines several essential tools you’d typically need to load through multiple plugins, all within a convenient and well-organized interface. You can easily keep it on your screen alongside other plugins, making it a practical addition to any workflow. Whether you need to convert stereo to mono, remove DC offset, adjust panning, or trim your track, TrackUtility MK2 has you covered.
With its built-in limiter and stereo width control, which can also function as a pseudo-stereo simulator, TrackUtility MK2 becomes especially handy on the master bus for quick mastering tasks. You can set your desired RMS level, enable auto-gain, and activate the limiter, then fine-tune the stereo image to your liking. This straightforward process offers an efficient solution for rapid mastering.
Building on the success of the original version, TrackUtility MK2 introduces a powerful new grouping feature, allowing you to adjust any parameter across multiple instances simultaneously. The RMS meter has also been improved, now offering an adjustable window for more flexible metering. We’ve also included our latest auto-gain algorithm and integrated the limiter code from Magnus, giving you the option to select from three different auto-release times.
