We have just updated StereoView, our free stereo phase monitor.

HoRNet StereoView acts as a correlation meter, helping you visualize the stereo image of your tracks. It offers an intuitive and effective way to monitor the stereo field.

The plugin’s design is simple and easy to understand. Specifically, the interface features a “goniometer,” an X-Y graph that fully occupies the screen, showing the signal’s intensity in the stereo field.

Additionally, StereoView allows you to switch between two views. The default view, which we call “fireworks,” displays each sample as a straight line that starts from the center. Meanwhile, the second view, called “abstract,” connects each sample in the stereo field to the next, creating a continuous “wire.” This transition results in a more fluid visual representation.

Moreover, the interface offers the flexibility to be rescaled as needed. You can easily resize it to perfectly fit the available space on your screen, ensuring a seamless workflow.

A goniometer like HoRNet StereoView becomes a crucial tool for spotting any anti-phase issues in your track. Such issues can cause problems when your track is played in mono, which happens frequently with mobile music listening today. For this reason, StereoView proves particularly useful for modern production needs.

The new 1.0.2 version is a maintenance release and includes:
  • We resolved a crash issue with Logic Pro X 10.5.

The update is free for owners of the plugin and can be downloaded from the user area.
