Tim Bardell says:

After using HoRNet Sleek for more than a year, I think I may have found a different way to use it. I am resurrecting old live band recordings from the 1970s and 80s, usually mono or stereo from sub-optimally placed mics. I transferred them directly to CDs in the early 2000s before I had any DAC software.
I insert Sleek early in the chain, with Attack at 300ms, Release at 10000ms, and Gain Reduction of 50%. That way it removes many room resonances and excessive reverb before I apply EQ and balance the mix – which makes it a lot easier.
Thanks for making such versatile and useful tools.
