HoRNet Multicomp Plus MK2

We have just updated Multicomp Plus MK2 our versatile visual compressor with 5 different compression models

HoRNet Multicomp Plus MK2 is a high-quality and versatile audio compressor. It features five audio compressor models (VCA, OPTO, FET, Console4K, and VCA160) along with an expander based on the VCA model.

Multicomp Plus MK2 perfectly handles every mixing need. It offers five classic compression algorithms, ranging from the dry VCA to the very fat FET model. Furthermore, the two new models, Console4K and VCA160, are based on timeless VCA designs. Additionally, we re-designed the OPTO model to be more faithful to classic optical compressors of the past.

If you’re looking for analog warmth, Multicomp Plus MK2 delivers. Each model provides a different emulation, and you can easily adjust the saturation intensity. Moreover, the analog emulation, the same one found in AnalogStage, includes an input transformer model. Don’t like the hiss that comes with analog? You can turn it off.

Switching models is seamless, so you don’t have to worry about gain staging. The internal makeup gain algorithm and auto input/output gain adjustment ensure smooth transitions between models, preventing any loudness changes.

Each audio compressor model supports an external side-chain input. In addition, both high-pass and low-pass filters range from 20 to 20,000Hz.

HoRNet Multicomp Plus MK2 offers standard controls like attack, release, ratio, and threshold. Furthermore, it includes a waveform display to show both input and output signals, helping you easily monitor the processing. Additionally, it features a visual gain reduction meter with a “RealGR” meter for real-time monitoring and a peak hold function.

Enjoy high-quality processing with 2x or 4x oversampling to reduce aliasing distortion. Also, the “auto” option optimizes oversampling for each model. The dry/wet knob simplifies parallel compression, while adaptive makeup gain maintains the correct wet signal level. Lastly, the auto threshold function automatically adjusts the threshold to achieve the desired gain reduction, streamlining your workflow.

The new 2.0.5 version is a maintenance release and includes:
  • Added auto disable of auto threshold, input and output gain on playback stop

  • Fixed weird parameters behaviour on Ableton Live 10 with VST3

The update is free for owners of the plugin and can be downloaded from the user area
