Bugfix update for our visual multi band compressor
We’ve Just Released an Update to MBC – Version 1.0.4 of Our Visual Automatic Multi-Band Compressor
We are excited to announce the release of version 1.0.4 of our popular MBC plugin – the visual automatic multi-band compressor that brings an intuitive and powerful way to manage dynamics in your mixes. This update improves the plugin’s compatibility and performance, ensuring it works smoothly across different platforms and digital audio workstations (DAWs). We’ve listened to user feedback and worked diligently to fix several issues in this release. Here’s what’s new in MBC 1.0.4:
Improved Compatibility with macOS 10.15 and Earlier Versions: We’ve addressed compatibility issues, ensuring that users on macOS 10.15 and earlier versions of macOS can now use the plugin without any problems. This update ensures the plugin operates seamlessly on older macOS systems, expanding the plugin’s compatibility range.
Fixed Crashes with FL Studio and Renoise on Windows: Some users experienced crashes when using MBC with FL Studio and Renoise on Windows. We’ve fixed these issues, so now the plugin will run smoothly in these DAWs without causing any instability.
Resolved Freeze Issues with Cubase on Windows: Another key fix in this update is for Cubase users on Windows. We’ve resolved the issue that caused the plugin to freeze when loading in some cases, making it much more reliable for those working within this popular DAW.
Fixed UI Resize Issue on AAX: The user interface (UI) resize functionality wasn’t working properly for AAX users. This update resolves that problem, so users on Pro Tools and other AAX-compatible DAWs can now enjoy an improved UI experience with better scaling options.
Preset Recalling Now Works Properly with DAWs from the DAW Preset Manager: We’ve fixed an issue where preset recalling didn’t work correctly in some DAWs when managed through the DAW preset manager. This update ensures that you can now recall your saved presets without any problems, making it easier to work efficiently on your projects.
Removed VST2.4 Support: In line with industry standards, we’ve decided to remove VST2.4 support in this version of MBC. Moving forward, the plugin will support VST3, AAX, and AU formats, which offer more advanced features and better performance.
This update is completely free for current owners of MBC. You can easily download the latest version through the HoRNet DoIn downloader, or by visiting the “my account” page on our website.
