Feature update e for the our popular plugin designed for achieving the perfect balance of loudness and clarity in your mix and mastering
We at HoRNet Plugins are thrilled to announce the release of Hornet Magnus MK3 version 1.0.2, our popular plugin designed for achieving the perfect balance of loudness and clarity in your mix and mastering
You can shape your audio using Magnus MK3’s clipper section. With five unique algorithms, including tape saturation, you can add warmth and character to your tracks. The limiter section lets you fine-tune dynamics. Its five carefully crafted algorithms, including a genuine analog emulation, provide precise control over your audio.
Magnus MK3’s intuitive interface makes it easy to control and adjust settings. Gain controls for both the clipper and limiter allow you to sculpt input levels, achieving the desired effect. The adjustable ceiling limit keeps audio peaks within your set thresholds, ensuring a consistent output. You can sync the limiter’s release time to your DAW’s tempo for precise integration, or let the auto-release algorithm find the optimal release time automatically.
With up to 16X oversampling for both the clipper and limiter, Magnus MK3 delivers pristine audio quality while minimizing unwanted artifacts. The output gain compensation feature helps you maintain consistent loudness levels. Delta mode enables focused listening, allowing you to make critical decisions during the brick wall limiting process.
The integrated LUFS metering ensures accurate loudness measurements, while the LU range meter lets you monitor dynamic range. The True Peak meter helps you detect inter-sample peaks and stay compliant with broadcasting standards.
With this update, we have fixed the oversampling: now it works for buffer sizes greater than 512 samples;
Improved user interface CPU usage;
Fixed crashes while changing oversample amount in some DAWs;
This update for free to all current owners of HoRNet Magnus MK3. You can download it from the user area on our website or by using the HoRNet DoIn downloader/installer.
