Maintenance release for the bass channel plugin
We have just updated L3012, the plugin designed for bass players, to version 1.0.1.
HoRNet L3012 is a channel strip plugin tailored specifically for bass players. It offers all the essential tools to make your bass sound exceptional. We developed this plugin in collaboration with Italian bassist Lusi to ensure it meets the needs of bass processing, whether in the studio or live settings.
HoRNet L3012 features an analog tube preamp section that you can overdrive to add grit. It includes a smooth “bass boost” circuit and a transient shaper to enhance the attack and clarity of your bass. The plugin also provides high-pass and low-pass filters, a low shelf, a high shelf, and a fully parametric mid band for resonance control and sound shaping. In the final stage, it uses a compressor modeled after a renowned VCA compressor commonly used on bass.
This lightweight and versatile plugin delivers top-quality sound through analog modeling technology throughout the processing chain. It employs “intelligent oversampling,” which adjusts the oversampling rate (up to 4x) based on your DAW settings.
The GUI is fully vector-based and hardware-accelerated. This ensures a sharp appearance at any screen resolution without burdening your CPU. Consequently, it is ideal for DSP processing.
Additionally, we include two presets created by Lusi. These presets showcase how the plugin performs with two popular bass models. Simply ensure the input meter hits the yellow zone, and you’re ready to go.
