We’ve just updated HarmoniQ to version 1.1.3. This innovative tool helps musicians and audio engineers remove inharmonic frequencies from their tracks, improving audio clarity and quality with ease.

HarmoniQ is an automatic equalizer designed to eliminate inharmonic frequencies. Acoustic instruments and complex sounds often contain a mix of harmonic and inharmonic elements. While harmonics enhance your sound, inharmonic frequencies can cause muddiness and a boxy effect. Traditionally, removing these unwanted frequencies required manual equalization—a tedious and time-consuming process. HarmoniQ revolutionizes this workflow with real-time analysis and automatic filtering, making it the perfect tool for inharmonic equalization.

How it works
HarmoniQ automatically analyzes incoming audio, detects the fundamental frequency, and identifies inharmonic frequencies. Its advanced algorithm applies up to 50 precise filters to remove these frequencies, resulting in a clearer, more refined sound. This innovative approach ensures your audio retains its natural warmth while removing disruptive elements.

Control the filtering process
With the Effect Amount knob, you can adjust the intensity of the filtering, from subtle corrections to aggressive reduction. This gives you control over balancing the natural character of your sound with the need for a more focused audio signal.

Smart Learn Mode
The smart learning mode simplifies plugin setup:

  • In Auto mode, the algorithm stops learning once the number of filters stabilizes for 10 seconds.
  • In On Stop mode, the learning process halts when you press the stop button in your DAW.

What’s new in version 1.1.3:

  • Fixed an issue where the UI sometimes failed to load on macOS.
  • Fixed the spacebar not controlling the DAW when the plugin UI is open on Windows.
  • Added tooltip display on the chart (activated by clicking on the chart).

The update is free for existing users and is available via HoRNet DoIn or in the My Account section of our website.
