Feature update for the guitar amplifier, cabinet and mic simulator
We updated GuitarKit (amplifier cabinet and mic simulator) to version 1.3.0.
HoRNet Guitar Kit is a guitar amplifier simulator that also includes a cabinet and a microphone simulators. What sets Guitar Kit apart is its use of physical models for each of the three modules. Many guitar amplifier simulators rely on convolved impulse responses to emulate specific units, such as particular amps or cabinets. While this method accurately replicates certain equipment, it limits your ability to customize your rig, as each model becomes a static “picture” of the emulated unit.
Guitar Kit, on the other hand, uses physical models to offer a broad range of sound options. You can select the tubes for each amplifier section, choose the cabinet speaker and type, and adjust the microphone type and placement. Moreover, you can activate or deactivate each of Guitar Kit’s three modules independently, enabling you to explore various sounds beyond the typical guitar tone. You can also apply the cabinet or microphone emulation to different sources, increasing your flexibility.
Guitar Kit is a guitar amplifier simulator that operates in real-time without latency, making it ideal for live performances. Even with the “high quality” mode enabled, which oversamples the processing 8x, it remains efficient with low CPU usage.
Furthermore, Guitar Kit comes with twelve presets made to show how easily this plugin can achieve some of the most distinctive amp sounds.
