Bugfix update e for the versatile digital delay
HoRNet DeeLay Plus is an advanced delay plugin. You can use it to create space, moving sounds, and even weird effects. The plugin features two separate delay units, conveniently called “left” and “right.” You can route each unit to the left or right channel independently. Additionally, you can cross-feed the feedback from each unit to the other.
DeeLay Plus provides standard delay controls, such as feedback and delay time. You can link these controls together for quicker use. You also have the option to sync the delay time to the host tempo.
Furthermore DeeLay Plus gives you instant visual feedback. The top waveform display shows the input and output levels. This setup ensures that you always have a meter close to your eyes when it matters.
HoRNet DeeLay Plus offers many modulation and sound manipulation options. You can filter the feedback path with a 6dB/oct low-pass filter and a 6dB/oct high-pass filter. The plugin also includes a distortion unit that ranges from a “clean” sound to a “completely crushed” one. By setting the feedback to 100%, you can send each delay element into a “continuous loop” mode. In this mode, the output sound never stops, even if the input goes silent. This feature allows you to create weird and noisy sounds or looping hypnotic ones.
DeeLay Plus has a character of its own. The Analog to Digital converter emulation adds to its uniqueness. You can set the converter to emulate different bit depths, ranging from 24-bit to 8-bit. This option lets you achieve cheap 80s sounds.
