Features update e for the versatile digital delay
We’ve just released an update for the DeeLay Plus plugin.
HoRNet DeeLay Plus is a highly versatile delay plugin, perfect for adding depth, movement, or even creating experimental effects. It features two distinct delay units, labeled “left” and “right,” which you can route independently to their respective channels. You also have the option to cross-feed the feedback from one unit to the other, opening up even more creative possibilities.
DeeLay Plus includes all the essential delay controls, such as feedback and delay time, with the ability to link them for faster adjustments. The delay time can also be synced to your host’s tempo for precise rhythmic effects.
For real-time visual monitoring, DeeLay Plus offers a built-in waveform display at the top, showing both input and output levels, ensuring you always have a clear view of what’s happening with your signal.
This plugin provides extensive modulation and sound design options. The feedback path can be shaped using both a 6dB/oct low-pass filter and a 6dB/oct high-pass filter. Additionally, there’s a built-in distortion unit that ranges from subtle warmth to full-on destruction. Setting feedback to 100% enables a “continuous loop” mode, where the delay output keeps running indefinitely, even if the input stops, allowing you to create evolving soundscapes or endless loops.
DeeLay Plus also stands out thanks to its unique character. It includes an Analog to Digital converter emulation that can mimic different bit depths, from 24-bit down to gritty 8-bit, letting you dial in that lo-fi, retro 80s vibe.
