HoRNet DeeLay Plus is an advanced delay plugin designed to create space, moving sounds, and even unusual effects. The plugin features two separate delay units, conveniently named “left” and “right.” You can route each unit to the left or right channel independently. Moreover, you can cross-feed the feedback from each unit to the other.
In addition, DeeLay Plus provides standard delay controls, including feedback and delay time. You can link these controls together for faster adjustments. Furthermore, you have the option to sync the delay time to the host tempo.
Additionally, DeeLay Plus offers instant visual feedback. The top waveform display shows both the input and output levels. Consequently, you will always have a meter close to your view when it matters most.
HoRNet DeeLay Plus also includes a variety of modulation and sound manipulation options. For instance, you can filter the feedback path using a 6dB/oct low-pass filter and a 6dB/oct high-pass filter. The plugin features a distortion unit that ranges from a “clean” sound to a “completely crushed” one. By setting the feedback to 100%, you can enable a “continuous loop” mode for each delay element. In this mode, the output sound never stops, even if the input becomes silent. This feature allows you to produce either weird and noisy sounds or looping, hypnotic effects.
Moreover, DeeLay Plus has a unique character. The Analog to Digital converter emulation contributes to its distinctiveness. You can set the converter to emulate different bit depths, ranging from 24-bit to 8-bit. Consequently, you can achieve the characteristic cheap 80s sounds.
