Another maintenance release for our master bus and channel strip processor
We have just updated ButterFly, a highly versatile and powerful master processor, to version 1.0.2.
HoRNet Butterfly is an audio mastering tool designed to provide you with all the tools needed for those final touches on your stereo mix or mastering project. It uses the same high-quality processing modules found in our SAMP, the master processor for Dolby Atmos.
In this plugin, you’ll find an equalizer (using the technology from our TotalEQ), a compressor (built on the technology of our SyncPressor), a clipper, and a limiter (featuring the same technology as our Magnus MK2).
You can easily rearrange the order of the effects by dragging their position in the top tabs control section. On the left side of the interface, there is handy LUFS metering section that displays the input and output levels (including the standard “momentary,” “short-term,” “integrated,” and “true peak” readings).
While we designed the plugin to work on stereo buses, you can also use it on mono channels, transforming it into a powerful channel strip. Additionally, you can independently disable each module to save CPU power. Don’t worry, though—Butterfly is light on your CPU, so you can safely add as many instances as you want.
