AutoGain is a gain automation plugin that drastically reduces the time needed to create gain automation curves. When finishing a mix, you often have tracks that require volume adjustments. Normally, you would adjust individual clip gain or start writing volume automation manually. However, this process often becomes long and tedious.
This is where HoRNet AutoGain comes to the rescue. The plugin provides two different inputs. You place the track you want to automate in the main input, and your volume reference in the second one. The reference can be a single track, a group of tracks, or even the whole mix. Once everything is set, simply press play and let HoRNet AutoGain handle the rest.
AutoGain consistently keeps your track level in line with your reference. It automatically generates the necessary gain automation for you. Additionally, you can customize the speed, sensitivity, and gain range to suit your specific needs.
For instance, try it on a vocal track. When you’re satisfied, put it into “write mode” to automatically generate the gain automation!
