We have just updated TheNormalizer, our gain normalization tool.

TheNormalizer is a gain plugin designed to help you achieve proper gain staging. It automatically sets each track of your mix and each bus to the level you want.

The plugin encapsulates our auto-gain technology in a single package. With TheNormalizer, you can automatically gain stage all of your tracks using the grouping function. Additionally, you can normalize your buses to the LUFS level you desire. If you need to meet specific maximum peak specifications, you can also normalize to the exact dBFS level required.

The best part is that once the gain is set, the plugin only uses the CPU power needed for a simple multiplication. As a result, it doesn’t strain your computer at all.

TheNormalizer also features a convenient “continuous mode.” This mode continuously adjusts the gain amount to match the level you set. It works similarly to AutoGain Pro when set with the internal reference and is perfect for gradually adjusting the loudness of a dynamic track, such as a voiceover.

The plugin offers a straightforward and easy-to-use interface, allowing you to quickly adjust the parameters.

The new 1.3.2 version is a bugfix release and includes:
  • Fixed audio unit not validating on macOS ventura

  • Fixed StudioOne reporting an erro with VST3 on windows

The update is free for owners of the plugin and can be downloaded from the user area or using HoRNet DoIn, our downloader installer.
